AKLIMATISASI DAN DISEMINASI BIBIT KANTONG SEMAR (Nepenthes spp.) HASIL KULTUR JARINGAN DI KEBUN RAYA BOGOR

Abstract

Micropropagation and acclimatization of pitcher plant (Nepenthes spp.) has been conducted at Bogor Botanic Gardens since 2006. To date, five species have already been used mainly for research and public education i.e. N. ampullaria, N. gracilis, N. mirabilis, N. rafflesiana and N. reinwardtiana. Introducing the plant through seminars, conferences, training courses, displays, and exhibitions is effective dissemination process to ensure that the conducted research is vital for the future of this important genus.
